DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6TH

“B” DAY

Students will be given the 2018-2019 Course Selection sheets in 1st period on Thursday, December 7, 2017.   Students will take the Course Selection forms to each of their classes on Thursday and Friday.  Teachers will indicate a suggested course for next year for each student.  This will be considered in course placement along with student/family interest and counselor input. Students should be assumed to move on to the next grade level in the subject; under no circumstances should a teacher recommend that a student repeat a course. In addition, in areas where there are advanced or AP courses, teachers should speak with each student about those opportunities and encourage/support the student to challenge at a higher level if they have an interest and commitment.

The forms will be collected by the last period teacher or turned into the Counseling Center on Friday the 8th. Forms should not be collected on Thursday.
