Amnesty International Club would like to thank our IHS family for helping to raise funds for the Rochester Refugee Resettlement Service. We collected $365 with our November’s ‘Change for Change’ fundraiser! Almost half of that amount was in coin form. A perfect example that if we all pitch in a small amount, together we can make a big difference. Thanks for supporting our local refugees and our Amnesty International Club here at IHS.

They will be opening for registration soon, so stop by the table in the Commons TODAY and get a jump on the competition and add a volunteering opportunity to your resume!

TODAY is the last day to donate to Amnesty International’s fundraiser for Rochester Refugee Resettlement Services in all Social Studies classrooms. They are collecting all forms of cash in plastic jugs to donate to our local Refugee Resettlement Services who help with the assimilation of refugees into our society. The refugee services aid the families & help them strive to be self-sustaining neighbors, while still maintaining their own cultural heritage. If every member of IHS were to contribute a small amount, we could all make a BIG difference.

Attention IHS! Class 2026 is going to be having a DoubleGood Popcorn sale, between Monday and next Friday. Sophomores--Use your parent's e-mail to set up your store on the DoubleGood app. Details and event code will be available in Social Studies classes and on our Schoology page. Sell popcorn when you see your family and friends during Thanksgiving and expect to see the delivery just in time for the holidays. The point of the fundraiser is to raise money for prom next year. So, let’s make this the best sale IHS has ever seen! Whomever sells the most will get a gift card as a prize! So, get ready to sell, sell, sell!

Small paper turkeys will be hiding around the school when you come in this morning. There is ONE prize per freshman with a turkey. If you hunt down more than one bird, you are taking someone else's shot at a prize. Meet us in the Commons after school to trade your turkey for a prize.
